You can start or restart your membership through our online booking portal. All new athletes complete an Initial Performance & Injury Assessment before joining regular sessions so we can place you in the right membership and training group.
Yes. Every new athlete completes an Initial Assessment. This includes movement screening, strength and power testing, injury history and goal-setting so we can build an appropriate, individualised program.
The Initial Assessment fee is $140. Exercise physiology rebates may apply depending on your health insurance.
We use VALD ForceDecks and other objective tools to track your progress.
Your results are sent in an easy-to-read report with sport-specific training recommendations and information such as vertical jump height, reactive strength index (RSI), and glute vs quad phase insights.
Peak Performance: Includes a personalised balance of weekly 1-on-1 coaching plus regular supervised group training.
Athlete Performance: Includes unlimited access to coached group sessions, performance testing and monitoring.
Athlete Development: Includes two coached sessions per week to build strength, movement quality and confidence in the gym alongside club or school sport.
All memberships have a minimum 12-week commitment so we have enough time to create real progress.
Programming is fully individualised to your sport, position, injury history and training age.
We deliver your program via the Lumin Sports app, where you can see your sessions, track loads and wellness, and view testing results. Coaches run sessions in person, coach your technique and monitor your training load and progress.
Yes. All programs are written with your sport and competition calendar in mind.
We regularly work with track and field athletes (including sprint and speed/change-of-direction work on the track), basketball and netball players, water polo and triathletes, plus football/soccer and other field sports.
Group sessions are capped at 10 athletes and are fully coached.
During your Initial Assessment we'll discuss your sport, goals and training history, then recommend the best membership and session structure. You don't need prior gym experience.
Absolutely. We have a large number of junior athletes in our program.
Programming is scaled to growth, maturity and training age to keep things safe and effective. We'll discuss parental consent, school and sport commitments, and any medical considerations during the Initial Assessment.
Yes. We provide team strength and conditioning blocks (pre-season and in-season), testing and monitoring for squads, and structured handover reports when athletes move into state or national pathway programs.
Handover documents include test tables (dates, bodyweight, jump metrics and comments) plus a formal written summary for coaching and high-performance staff.

No. Many athletes start with little or no gym background.
We'll coach you through technique, loads and gym etiquette so you feel confident and safe in each session.
Yes. Our exercise physiologists and strength & conditioning coaches regularly work with athletes rehabbing injuries such as ACL reconstructions, back pain and shoulder injuries.
We liaise with your physiotherapist or medical team to keep rehab and performance work aligned.
Most athletes get the best results with 2–3 strength and conditioning sessions per week, adjusted around sport training and competition.
We'll help you plan this during your assessment so you're not over- or under-doing it.
We don't offer casual drop-ins.
Our athletes train on membership blocks so we can plan loading, track progress and keep groups consistent. If you're unsure which membership suits you best, we'll talk through options at your Initial Assessment.
Yes. We understand that injuries, school commitments and travel come up.
Memberships can be placed on hold for genuine reasons. Just chat with the coaching team as early as possible so we can plan around it and keep your program on track.
